Well the blogs were ablaze today, twitter was a tweetin, facebook was updating and all for apple’s big announcement of their touch tablet, now officially dubbed the iPad! (sure it’s a simple name, but I really don’t get why people are trippin over it) People are comparing it to a maxi pad, hahaha what the hell do you write on? a note pad? what do you sketch on? a sketch pad? Come on, how old are we, 12? Grow up already. Who gives a crap about what it’s called. What can it DO?! Don’t cry to me about what it doesn’t have, check  out what the hell it does have…

I won’t bore you with all of the details that you’ve probably already read about or watched in the Apple Keynote. But I think I will be getting one. It will serve it’s purpose of note taking, doodling my sketches without paper, email, internet, books, gaming, photos, music, movies, showcasing my portfolio or clothing line on the run, for me the possibilities are endless. I’m already trying to think of some cool app to create for the next generation of mobile devices!
